Christ Church Tunstall 

Sunday School

The children at Christ Church are welcomed at the beginning of Mass and then go to the Church Hall for their own Liturgy of the Word, and activities associated with the theme of the Sunday Mass readings.

The children then come back into church following the intercessions to explain what they have been learning and they then stay for the offertory and Eucharistic Prayer and go up to the altar for a blessing before returning to the Church Hall to finish off their activities. 

​

The children can then be collected from the Church Hall after Mass.

​

A number of the members of the Sunday School also help as servers and also read the lessons at Mass.

​

Please come to the Church Hall from 9.50am. 

​

The Sunday School Leaders are all fully checked by the Disclosure and Barring Service.

Sunday School restarts on Sunday 4th September 2022.
